As experienced office designers that specialize in creating innovative places to work, we are constantly making the effort to grow and learn as a team. That is why, as we herald ourselves into the final quarter of the year, we have decided to put our attention and effort into innovation.
In the last quarter of the year, which we have named “The Quarter of Curiosity” we are internally devoting our time to exploring our core value: curiosity. Curiosity, for us, is to be inquisitive, dare to know, and be eager to learn. In 2022, we have seen the rapid growth of our team. Because we were taking on new people, each with different levels of industry experience, we recognize the necessity of training.
As part of a sales and design team at an office furniture company, we often see ourselves as negotiators. After we book a furniture order, we go from one form of negotiation to the next. On one end we are communicating with the client, and on the other end we are communicating with the architect, broker, building owner, manufacturing partners, and trades. Our goal is to ensure that our clients get their furniture in beautiful condition, on time, without any surprises. In a hectic city like Manhattan, this isn’t always easy. Life is about communicating with people. Being professional negotiators and expert listening ensures what we set out to do is possible.
The holidays are a time of giving and community. That is why, this year for Giving Tuesday, OFH is donating $1,300 to the Henry Street Settlement. The amount was collected from our Warehouse Charity Sale that we held this October at our warehouse in Paterson, New Jersey. We would like to thank our customers and our friends, who helped to contribute the funds to make this donation possible.
In the last few months, our experienced team of Sales Executives and Designers has been busy at work creating truly beautiful and outstanding office design solutions for our clients. Of the highlighted projects in this post, we recently furnished L.H. Frishkoff & Company, Foley Mansfield, the Dearie Law Firm, as well as multiple offices for a prominent NYC landlord. On June 20th, 2019, Bisnow hosted “NYC OFFICE & WORKPLACE OF THE FUTURE,” an event featuring panelists from across the NYC commercial real estate market. Over breakfast, attendees networked, and watched informative panels about current and exciting topics in the industry from Hudson Yards, design, construction and workplace strategy, and the growing dynamic between landlords and tenants.
We are excited to announce that Marc Schwartzberg will be moderating a panel “All About the Tenants: Talent, Trends, Amenities & More” at Bisnow’s June 20 event “NYC Office & Workplace of the Future – A Half-Day Exploration Into How Talent and Tenants Continue to Drive the New Office Dynamic.”
