This weekend, Governor Andrew Cuomo issued an ordinance that 100% of all nonessential workers in New York State must stay home. Here are our latest updates, and how this ordinance will effect new and existing orders at OFH:
Our 18 W 27th Street Studio will remain closed to the public until it is safe. Beginning last week, OFH successfully transitioned our team to work from home and continue regular operations. Our team will continue to be available to assist you in every aspect of your project as we would at our Studio, by phone, email, or by videoconferencing for as long as the ordinance lasts.
NJ and NY warehouses will remain open, and are taking appropriate safety measures. In accordance with the state’s guidelines and following the necessary health and safety procedures defined by the CDC, our NJ and NY warehouses remain open to receive incoming deliveries. For any questions relating to incoming deliveries or to follow up on existing order, please contact our team at email@example.com or call us at 212.989.8600.
Our delivery and installation team are fulfilling orders in the New York area. Our delivery and installation team are actively delivering and installing furniture to our clients. If your company is unable to receive deliveries at this time, please contact us a soon as possible, and we will help work out the necessary arrangements.
Our team is here if you have any questions. OFH is happy to offer ourselves as a resource to our clients. If your company needs help navigating real estate concerns, office moves, construction or office cleaning, our team is available to assist you in this time of need.
OFH is dedicated to health and well-being of our city and continuing to operate safely during this time of emergency. Please keep up with the latest updates on our blog and look for critical updates from our team. We wish for the safety of your families and loved ones and we hope to keep you well informed of the situation as it progresses.

This holiday season, the OFH Team would like to thank our friends, clients, and our referral partners for a wonderful and rewarding year. In 2019 OFH furnished a record number of offices, and we couldn’t have done so without our passionate and cohesive team, the good faith and trust of our clients and manufacturing partners, and our strong relationships in the real estate and A+D community.

When you walk into a well-designed office with quality furniture, there’s an immediate emotional impact. The look of your office shows that you have made an investment in your company. The high standards you placed in growing your business can be seen throughout your entire office. The office furniture is well-designed, is strongly-built—your team feels great, and they are excited to work in their beautiful and healthy office. At OFH, we believe in going the extra mile to ensure that the offices we design are built to last because we know that quality furniture makes a difference.

This summer, we’re seeing a lot of new office furniture designs that are getting us excited. 2019 has been the year of the flexible office, and the office furniture that overtook Neocon and other major design fairs this spring directly responded to the need for more flexibility in shared environments: more defined lounge areas, combined with a reclamation of ‘private spaces’ in the form of office phone booths, glass-enclosed spaces, and noise-insulating technology. While 2017 was the year for improving wellness at work, the flexible office trend directs its attention to office furniture and design as a primary way to decrease distractions and make working a better experience for everyone. In this blog, we will focus on some of our office furniture finds that best represent this growing trend.
