Founded by Olivier Baussan over 40 years ago, L’OCCITANE captures the true art de vivre of Provence, offering a sensorial immersion in the natural beauty, fragrance and lifestyle of the south of France. From the texture of L’OCCITANE products to their scent, each skincare, body care and fragrance formula promises pleasure through beauty and well-being—a moment rich in enjoyment and discovery that goes beyond tangible benefits to create a different experience of Provence.
A longstanding client of OFH, L’Occitane invited Susan da Fonseca, OFH Senior Designer and Sales Executive, to help furnish their new offices in New York’s Garment District. Susan worked closely with L’Occitane’s VP of Retail Development, Design and Merchandising, Paul Blackburn, and Project Manager, Daniel Gutierrez, to select and specify the furniture they wanted in the new space.
L’Occitane’s New York office opens to an elegant reception designed by Vision Woodworks and an outdoor balcony, offering plenty of light and a stunning view of the metropolitan skyline. Conference rooms are furnished with Highback Wit chairs, and a Calibrate series conference table with a knife edge detail. Design highlights include bright floral wall décor adjacent to meeting areas and cheerful yellow accents throughout the space.
Oxygen benching systems comfortably accommodate the company’s growing team of over 100 employees. Phone booths were also placed in key areas of the office to offer staff members a quiet haven. Private offices have height adjustable desks with a functional work wall in the Calibrate Casegoods Series. Collaborative areas feature LB LOUNGE seating as well as COLLABORATION BLEACHERS for meetings and training.
Everyone at L’Occitane is thrilled with their new offices.
