Back in 2006, Office Furniture Heaven helped Campbell Lutyens, a London-based boutique private equity firm, launch its New York branch office with high quality used furniture. Now, ten years later and well established in NYC, they returned to OFH to furnish their new Rockefeller Center office. It was time for a fresh new look.
Collaborating with Daria Scatton of Campbell Luytens, David Itkin, OFH founder, once again took the project lead to design a tasteful and elegent space for his client. In order to create matching meeting spaces to welcome Campbell Lutyens’ assorted guests, David matched both reception area and conference rooms with coordinating OFS stained oak wood furniture topped with a luxurious Carrera marble surface. For the conference tables, he paired classic mid-century modern Reed high back leather chairs.
Judiciously selecting pieces from our STAKS casegoods collection, David designed for his client a beautiful solution befitting of their modern space. “The STAKS line is a great choice” David explained. “As one of our mid-tiered lines designed and built to look current well into the future, it offers a timeless look in a comprehensive system that covers the full range of office requirements. This makes it a good fit for a growing business with a midrange budget.” David was able to leverage the versatility of this system to fill out the floorplan with matching furniture in both private offices and open plan benching. For task seating, he outfitted each workstation and office with a Torsa task chair, a chair designed for both ergonomic comfort and sleek aesthetics. And since the wide range of color options made finding a matching upholstery a cinch, David was able to provide the entire office with a tasteful and uniform palette.
Campbell Lutyens is now well positioned for another decade of expansion in New York – cheers!
