Coller Capital: Another Great Office Space

A Typical Workstation

We just finished a great full floor office for Coller Capital—a global leader in liquidity solutions for private equity investors. Coller Capital is an international firm with offices in Hong Kong, London and New York. For their New York office renovation, Coller Capital expected impeccable execution, state of the art components, and the highest quality standards. The completed project boasts breathtaking views, clean lines, furnishings that adapts to multiple functions, and a very happy client.

Crossing the office’s threshold, it’s easy to feel on top of the world. Coller Capital is located on the 29th floor, in midtown Manhattan. Transparency is a priority at Coller Capital, and the design translates that value into the company’s physical space.

The combination of floor to ceiling windows, glass walled conference rooms, and an open plan translates into uninterrupted views of the rooftops and crowns of some of the world’s most recognizable skyscrapers, the East River and Central Park. One is, therefore, never deprived of a jaw-dropping vista except while in the restroom and even that has a memorable design.

While the views take center stage, the decor is subtle, beautiful and functional. Exotic Anigre wood is used throughout the space and defines the color scheme. Each conference room is equipped to handle the most advanced teleconference technology. The main conference room features an articulating table, able to accommodate 20 people in an ideal seating arrangement for video conferencing.

The workstations were custom designed for this project. Everyone at Coller Capital, from the CEO to the administrators, sits at this same style workstation. Durable wood grain laminate is complimented by a frameless clear glass divider that preserves personal space while maintaining uninterrupted sight lines. The client integrated their existing metal drawer pedestals, thereby lowering costs per workstation.

This project was completed on time and on budget. Thanks to a cohesive collaboration among experts in their respective fields, this New York office space is a spectacular working environment that will enhance the success of Coller Capital for many years.
