Estel is an Italian office furniture company whose passionate attention to detail, and embracing of the most up-to-date environmentally-conscious manufacturing processes, has earned them international acclaim. Initially founded as a residential furniture company in Italy in 1937, their Office division, founded in 1980, quickly set the world wide standard for office furniture for decade. Since their founding, Estel has gained a strong international presence, with showrooms around the world.

Centered in the heart of the Financial District, on 1 William St, you will find Estel’s NYC boutique showroom. Their brusque, unmistakably contemporary style, provides a beautiful modern counterbalance to the sophisticated, antiquated architecture of the neighborhood.

Estel’s products are distinctive for their heavy degree of workmanship, down to the smallest screw, seamless electrical integration, and of course—style. Estel has borne the name of numerous well-known designers, which includes the late Oscar Niemeyer, Jorge Pensi, Ora Ito, and Karim Rashid.

Estel’s Altagamma Collection includes a Reception Desk, Conference Table, Executive Desk, and Casegoods. Designed for the corner executive suite, the Altagamma Collection brings together elegant minimalist lines, with polished wood, aluminum, steel, and glass, harkening back to the aesthetic principles and allusions of luxurious early twentieth century design. 

Their More Desk and Table line carries a more subtle, adaptive approach. Work surfaces available in wood, laminate, glass or lacquer inset in a flush fit metal frame, supported by sleek tapered metal legs inserted into the horizontal profiles with a fluid and measured arch. This series is perfect for the corner office, as well as for workstations, with an unmistakable Italian flair.

Estel's collection carries a wide range of products, which includes everything from lounge seating, auditorium seating, lighting, sound absorption products, to a residential-office ‘Coffice’ line, which combines an electrified meeting table with a built-in kitchen.
