This year has been one of our most exciting years at OFH. We would like to thank our friends, clients, and referral partners for making this success possible! On December 5th, our team enjoyed a fantastic company holiday dinner at Kyma Hudson Yards to celebrate a year of success! The OFH Ph team enjoyed a holiday dinner at La Vie in the Sky.
As experienced office designers that specialize in creating innovative places to work, we are constantly making the effort to grow and learn as a team. That is why, as we herald ourselves into the final quarter of the year, we have decided to put our attention and effort into innovation.
In the last quarter of the year, which we have named “The Quarter of Curiosity” we are internally devoting our time to exploring our core value: curiosity. Curiosity, for us, is to be inquisitive, dare to know, and be eager to learn. In 2022, we have seen the rapid growth of our team. Because we were taking on new people, each with different levels of industry experience, we recognize the necessity of training.
The movement towards new ways of utilizing the workplace continues to be an ongoing conversation for office designers. In the last few years, employees have been interacting with the office differently, embracing remote and hybrid work, in addition to coming to the office. As these changes are here to stay, the most resilient workplaces welcoming their employees back to the office are doing so by embracing balance.
With terms such as “remote burnout” settling into the office lexicon, employees are acknowledging the limits of communicating solely online. Multitasking during back-to-back Zoom meetings is an unsustainable solution, compared with the creative and interpersonal exchanges that occur within the meeting room.

With all the change and disruption due to the worldwide pandemic, so many office workers and business leaders are wondering – Do I need an office? I remember it well, back in March of 2020, when Governor Andrew Cuomo mandated all non-essential businesses close their doors effective Monday March 16, 2020. I thought it wouldn’t matter to me. I’ll still go to work every day. That plan lasted until my wife Jill said “you can’t go to the office.” I got on my bike Sunday evening before the shutdown to pick up some essentials from the office and start working from home.
June 9th, 2022. The OFH team met at God’s Love We Deliver, a charity organization located at 166 Avenue of the Americas in SoHo, to volunteer and help package meals for those in need. God’s Love We Deliver is a non-sectarian organization that is dedicated to providing free services to clients without regard to income.
