It’s 3 o’clock at the office. You are working on a very important presentation that is due in one hour. You are trying to concentrate. Next to your desk, a co-worker is on the phone talking to a client. Right across from you, two members of your team are collaborating on a project. It is New York City, traffic is congested and you can hear the horns and sirens outside.

As a NYC-based office furniture and design firm, we see ourselves as detail-oriented problem solvers. When a client signs a lease to move into a new space, we set to work transforming that empty space into a beautiful office. We learn our client’s preferences, the way they like to work, and work within their budget to find a solution that satisfies their requirements. It means a lot to us to provide individual attention and the best possible service to our clients.

2017 has been an exciting year for office furniture and design. Collaborative and focus-oriented workspaces have taken the lead in discussion around office design. More often than ever before, the question we’re asking ourselves when entering a space, is not simply how it looks, but also “How does it make me feel?”

It’s doubtless, today’s office is a site of constant change and reinvention. With an estimated 70% of U.S. offices utilizing open workspaces, the most logical question for us to ask ourselves is: how can we make it better?

Some weeks ago, members of our team walked a few blocks from our headquarters, to oversee a large-scale furniture installation for a client in the Flatiron District. We collaborated with their team and the architectural firm Oprea Design, to choose quality furniture that accommodated the needs of over 200 employees, while meeting within their strict budget requirements.
